Fuzzy Elf Sock Slippers

This slipper sock is our November '08 Sock Club pattern. Fuzzy Elf (A great name for a cocktail, Mr. Turtle Knits thinks!) is a simple sock, knit on large needles with some ingenious design elements to make it the perfect house elf socks.
An oversized sock is knit from the toe up, with either a pointed elf toe or traditional rounded toe, the foot features a garter st sole + short row heel for durability, and cuff is worked in either a garter foldover with button closure or add-on ribbing after the sock is felted to size. Quick to knit, and satisfyingly cute - this pattern will keep all the elf feet in your home warm and cozy!
Gauge: 20 stitches and 28 rows = 4 inches in felted stockinette stitch
Needles: US 10½ / 6.5 mm

Sizing: 5 sizes from infant to men's
