Sometimes I think my boys like to challenge me, to see how far they can push me in my knitting. My oldest recently asked me to knit him Larry Boy's plunger ears (those of you without Veggie Tale obsessed kids have no idea what I'm talking about right now!) I decided to forgo the knitted plunger attempts and move to my second son's (more reasonable) request: striped slippers. And thus, this very fun pattern was born.
These are knit flat, with one (very) tiny seam so they work up quick with minimal finishing (my favorite kind of knitting!) You can work the stripes or solid, if you prefer a more toned down slipper. With nine sizes from infant to adults, you can whip up a set for everyone in your family!
Supplies need for this pattern:
* heavy worsted weight yarn: 1 skein each of two colors (20-100 yards per color, depending on size)
*size 7(US) 16" circular needles
Pattern rating: adventurous beginner
