This is the quickest little pattern we have! Knit these fun wool balls for the kids or pets in your life. These are a great way to use up the odd bits of yarn left when you complete a project, and they can be worked on a variety of needle sizes to produce balls of different size. DK or worsted weight worked on size 6 needles will produce a hacky-sack sized ball, while the same yarn worked on size 10 needles will produce a softball sized ball, or you can then felt it to make a dense thick ball, perfect for teething babies (and dogs!) Dh's young cousins love to play hackey sack with these balls (fill them with lentils or rice for the perfect hackey-sack.)
Supplies needed:
* small amount yarn (20-40 yards)
* knitting needles suitable for your yarn's weight
* cup of polyfill or beans to fill
