King of All Wild Things Crown Knitting Pattern

My very favorite book to read to my boys is Where the Wild Things Are by Maurice Sendak. Sometimes I feel like I've got a house of wild things with my four boys!! For the better part of recent years, I've been reading this book to them every night, and I thought that it was time they had a crown to play along.<.p>

So, here's a felted crown for the King (or Queen) in your life. With 5 sizes from infant to adult, you can make one for everyone's special occasion. My oldest two have already put in requests for Christmas Crowns, and I think that Hubby may need one, too. I can picture a sweet pink and purple one decorated with sew-on sequins for a perfect Princess Birthday Crown.

Supplies Needed: * 100% wool worsted weight yarn: 1 skein each of two colors (80-160 yards per color)

* size 10 (US) 16" circular needles
